The Rock app collects nothing about you. This website collects a little, and this page says exactly what.

Who we are
This policy covers the Rock app for iPhone and this website, getrock.app. Both are run by Rock (“we”). Questions about it go to support@getrock.app.
The app
No account. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
No network access. The app never connects to the internet. It has no servers of ours to talk to and no third-party code inside it.
No analytics. Nothing about how you use Rock is counted, tracked, or sent anywhere. There are no ads.
Your Screen Time choices stay on your iPhone. Apple's Screen Time gives Rock the apps, categories, and websites you choose to block as opaque tokens, not names. Rock stores them on your iPhone, and they never leave it.
So does everything else. Whether you're rocked and since when, which Rock is paired, and your settings are kept on your iPhone, shared only with Rock's own widgets and extensions. Deleting the app deletes them.
Crash reports stay on your iPhone unless you share them. Apple's MetricKit gives Rock reports when it crashes or hangs, and you can see them in Rock's Settings. They hold technical details such as your iPhone model, the iOS and app versions, and where in Rock's code the problem happened. They leave your iPhone only if you tap Share crash reports and choose where to send them.
Separately, if you've turned on Share With App Developers in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share crash data from Rock with us. Apple's privacy policy covers that, and you can turn it off there.
This website
The waitlist. If you join, we store your email address and when you joined, in a database hosted by Neon. We use it for one thing: emailing you when Rock ships. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.
Rate limiting. Each time the waitlist form is sent, we record the IP address it came from and the time, so one visitor can't flood the list. These records are stored apart from email addresses and only count for an hour; older ones are deleted automatically the next time the form is used.
Analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and the pages viewed. It doesn't use cookies and can't follow you to other sites. Nothing else on this site sets cookies either.
Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which handles each request, including your IP address, to deliver the page.
Who else sees it
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the services that run this site: Neon for the database and Vercel for hosting and analytics. We would disclose information only if the law required it.
Your choices
To see or delete your waitlist email, write to support@getrock.app and we'll take care of it. To remove everything the app keeps, delete the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
